# Hedge Settlement

Upon the hedge due date, Grain will settle the hedge automatically and transfer the funds to, or from, your wallet, in one of the following methods:

* **Offset settlement**: The platform will calculate the difference between the current spot rate and the original hedge rate and transfer the funds to, or from, your wallet.
* **Full Settlement**: At settlement date, the platform will debit the total transaction amount from the 'From currency' wallet, and deposit the agreed upon amount into your 'To Currency' wallet.
